Don joined the Hofman Team in 2004 as a Safety & Health Training Instructor. He served over 33 years in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard as a pilot of various military helicopters. His last 18 years in the military was spent as a U.S. Army Aviation safety officer. Don worked in all levels of command in a variety of units, including maintenance and training.
As a Safety Training Instructor, Don has taught numerous safety classes and has been responsible for conducting semi-annual safety surveys while working at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (EAATS). Don has also delivered training to industrial clients on numerous aspects of safety requirements, specializing in confined space.
Don holds a B.A. in History from Mansfield State College (1969) and an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University (1980). His other credentials include:
