Co-founded Hofman Safety in August of 1990 with Richard K. Hofman, Vice President. Bridget brings over twenty-five years of experience in regulatory compliance, program development, and industrial hygiene and safety.

 

As President of Hofman Safety, Bridget directs and manages client projects on indoor air quality, industrial hygiene monitoring, OSHA program development and compliance, including especially, hearing conservation programs, and respiratory protection programs and training.

 

Bridget holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Wilkes University (1977) and an M.S. in Environmental Health/Industrial Hygiene from Temple University (1994). She is an authorized OSHA Outreach Compliance Instructor and has completed the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations Course, EPA/DER (1990). She has also attended a variety of specialized hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, industrial ventilation control, noise controls, and management seminars.

 

Prior professional experience includes: Director of Hazardous Sites Cleanup Program (State Superfund Program) for Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as the "point man" for delegation of the Hazardous Waste Program (RCRA) to Pennsylvania, and worked for NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection, Dept. of the Treasury, Department of Defense, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in a variety of technical/professional capacities.
